I only have one working key. Can you copy it before I lose it?
Yes. We cut a duplicate from your working key and program its chip to your car in the same visit. Adding a spare now costs less than an all-keys-lost job later, and we test the new key on your vehicle before we leave.
My Nissan is a 2019. Will the newer security system stop you from adding a key?
No. On a 2019, a freshly cut blade is only part of the copy, because your immobilizer must also accept it. We pull the 20-digit rolling PIN that 2018 and newer models rely on, and then pair your duplicate through CONSULT III Plus. Infiniti owners get the same service on any model year from 2000 up.
Why won't my car start with a key I had copied at a hardware store?
The blade was likely cut but the transponder chip was never programmed. Your immobilizer won't accept an unregistered chip. We can program that key or cut a new one and register it to your car, then test the start on site.
What do I need to show you before you make a key for my car?
Have the VIN, a photo ID and proof the car is yours, either the title or the registration. We verify ownership on every job before any key is cut or programmed.
