I lost every key to my Infiniti. Can you make a new one without the original?
Yes, and you do not need the original. Losing every key is a job we handle on Infiniti models all the time. We pull the NATS PIN code, which is a 20-digit rolling PIN on 2018 and newer vehicles, cut an emergency key blade and register a new Intelligent Key where the car sits. Keep your VIN, a photo ID and your title or registration on hand.
My dashboard shows Key System Error. Is that the key or something bigger?
Sometimes it is only the key, and sometimes it goes deeper. On your Infiniti we use CONSULT to trace the Key System Error to its source: the Intelligent Key, the steering lock or a module. When the steering lock turns out to be the problem, we handle the ESCL emulator or steering lock replacement right where the car sits.
I put a used module in my Infiniti and now it will not start. Can you fix that?
In most cases, yes. A used module carries another car's VIN, so your Infiniti rejects its keys. We write your VIN into the replacement module and synchronize NATS so the keys and the module match again. If the data on your original BCM or ECM can still be saved, we clone it on the bench by reading the EEPROM.
I still have one working key. Can you add a spare for my Infiniti?
Yes. We cut and duplicate the key and program the new smart key or fob to your car on site. Having a working key gives us a simpler starting point than an all keys lost job.
Will opening my locked Infiniti scratch the door or paint?
