I lost my only smart key, do I have to tow my car to the dealer?
No. We come to your vehicle and make the new smart key where it is parked. We cut the emergency blade, read the immobilizer PIN and register the key with dealer-level software such as CONSULT III Plus, so the car starts and drives away with no tow.
My title is at home and I am stuck in a parking lot, what proof of ownership do you need?
We need the VIN, a photo ID and either the title or the registration. The registration in your glove box is often enough. We check these documents before any key is cut, because that protects you and your vehicle from someone making a key without permission.
My 2019 Rogue has one of the newer PIN systems, can you still make a key with none left?
Yes. We read NATS PIN codes, including the 20-digit rolling PIN used on 2018 and newer vehicles, then register the new key on site. We cover Nissan and Infiniti models from 2000 onward.
Can I get a spare key made during the same visit?
Yes. Key cutting and duplication and transponder key programming are part of our services, so a second key can be cut and programmed while we are already at your car. Having a spare now keeps you out of an all keys lost situation next time.
My dash shows Key System Error after I lost my keys, is that something you handle?
Yes. We run Key System Error diagnostics with CONSULT to find whether the problem is the key, the steering lock or a module. If a module needs it, we handle ESCL replacement, BCM and ECM cloning and NATS synchronization on site.
